Many of us own a lamp. But what happens when one of its component parts breaks? In most cases, even if the obsolescence is only partial, we throw the lamp away in its entirety.
Indeed, just as a remote control no longer exists without a television, the lamp no longer exists once it's incomplete.
That's why, in collaboration with Robin Boddez, we designed a ceramic part capable of replacing various lamp components. Thanks to the design of the slot, the conical part can be positioned in different ways on the intact part of the object. So, depending on the type of break, the cone can be a lampshade, a lamp base, a wall light or even a suspension.
