In response to the city of Brussels on the question of replacing electric heaters. We, in collaboration with Chloé Hercé, worked around plaid. This object from the private sphere is designed for domestic use.
How to adapt it for use in public spaces?
The outdoor blanket has different constraints from the classic blanket. It must be very durable, must be easy to clean, must be able to be worn on the shoulders like a cape without restricting the hands and be worn on the knees without dragging on the ground. We have therefore redefined its size, shape and materials so that it best meets these requirements.
The blanket is entirely designed in polypropylene for its great resistance and recyclability and a monogram in the colors of the city of Brussels allows the logo to be included in the visual identity of the object, while limiting the visibility of any possible stains before washing.
